Hello, and thank you for visiting!
I’m Jingyu Li. Born in Beijing, I moved to the United States in my early twenties for graduate school and eventually found my home in San Francisco. Over the years, I’ve worked across many corners of software engineering, from Apple products to Amazon’s fulfillment systems to medical devices. More recently, a turn toward AI has clarified something for me: the deepest form of intelligence may be neither speed nor scale, but the freedom to be fully present to the world, attentive to its small details, and kind to one another.
These days, I find joy in the small details of everyday life — baking sourdough, nature journaling, designing crochet amigurumi, reading biology, friendship, and traveling to unfamiliar parts of the world. I’m especially drawn to children’s literature that remains rooted in its original language and cultural heritage.
